David L. Korn, PT, MPA, FACHE

David L. Korn provides out-patient physical therapy services for patients referred to Omni Physical & Aquatic Therapy. He began working as a physical therapist in New York after graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. David moved to Connecticut in 1979 and began working at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford as Chief Physical Therapist.

He became the Administrator and oversaw the growth of this hospital department to become the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center, which included a 24 bed in-patient rehabilitation unit and extensive out patient services. During this time, David received a Master's Degree in Public Administration, from the University of Hartford, and majored in Public Health. He became a Vice President at Mount Sinai Hospital with responsibility for several clinical departments, in addition to the Rehabilitation Center.

David was recruited by Hartford Health Care and became the CEO of its recently acquired urgent care system. During his 9 years in this role, he facilitated the turnaround and growth of 6 urgent care locations and the development of CT Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine (CPTSM) into a system that included 10 locations. David initiated a joint venture with Advantage Health Corporation to create the Eastern Rehabilitation Network (ERN). He was responsible for the initial growth and development of this organization before establishing a consulting company that worked with healthcare systems to enhance operations and facilitate development of multiple clinical entities.

In 2009, David was recruited to become the CEO of Integrated Physicians' Management Services, a company that provides business support services for medical practices.

One of David’s goals was to return to providing physical therapy services. He returned to practice and provided home care physical therapy with Constellation Home Health between 2018 and 2020 before beginning work with Omni Physical & Aquatic Therapy in September 2020. David applies diverse skills and experiences in healthcare and in physical therapy for Omni's patients.
